How it works
How KobulKabin works
KobulKabin follows the steps families already know — biodata, khoj-khobor, a family meeting — and adds privacy and verification at every one.
Signing up
We designed sign-up to take under eight minutes. Verification carries on in the background.
Who is signing up?
Choose "for myself", or "for my son, daughter or sibling" if you are a parent or relative.
Your phone number
You get a code to confirm it. During the closed beta, our team sends you an invite code instead.
The basics
Name, gender, date of birth (18+ only), and the country and city you live in.
Faith and intentions
Prayer, practice and what you hope for in a marriage — described your way, never judged.
Photos
At least one and up to six, each checked by our team. You choose who can see them.
Selfie and ID
A live selfie and an ID check. You can do it later, but unverified profiles are seen less.
Partner preferences
Age, location, education, practice and more. They stay private and drive your matches.
Invite a guardian (optional)
A parent, sibling or mentor — with the permission you choose.
Finding someone
Daily matches
Each day a short list of profiles that fit what you want — and where you fit what they want. Each says why it was chosen. No endless feed.
Search and filters
Age, location, home district, education, profession, prayer, languages, verified-only and more. Save a search to get a weekly summary.
Fair for everyone
Popular profiles are not flooded, new and newly verified members get a short boost, and profiles below 70% complete do not appear in daily matches.
Interests: a polite way to say "I’d like to know more"
You — or an active guardian, if you allow it — send an interest with a short note. The other person has three choices:
Accept
A chat opens and blurred photos unlock for both of you.
Not for me
The interest quietly closes after 14 days. Nobody is told "no".
Ask my guardian
Their guardian takes a look first. The final decision is still theirs.
Women can always reply to an interest for free.
Talking, with your family nearby
- Chat opens only after you both accept. Personal contact details never need to be shared.
- Either side can add their guardian to the chat. A banner tells both sides whenever a guardian is there.
- In the first 48 hours the app warns you if someone asks for a number, an email or money.
- Report or block from any chat in two taps.
Towards a family meeting, nikah and kabin
When you are both ready, the families meet — usually with guardians present. Our guides help with the parts that follow.
