About KobulKabin

KobulKabin is the marriage app for Bengali Muslims that is built around trust and family: verified profiles, a real role for guardians, and privacy each member controls.

What the name means

Kobul (কবুল) is "I accept" — the consent each person gives at the nikah. Kabin (কাবিন) is the registered marriage contract, the kabin-nama, and the mahr written into it. Together they cover the whole journey, from saying yes to a properly recorded marriage. Our logo’s two upright strokes are two people and two families, standing level; the gold diamond between them is the moment of consent.

Why we are building it

Families today rely on go-betweens with no fixed fees, scattered Facebook and WhatsApp groups, and large generic matrimony sites full of stale profiles. Young people want choice and privacy; parents want to take part and to know who is real. No product served both well — so we are building one that does.

What we believe

  • Marriage, with dignity

No swiping, no games, no flirty copy. Marriage is serious and joyful.

  • Honest about what we check

Every badge says what we checked and what we did not. We never claim more.

  • Family, without pressure

Guardians view, suggest and advise. The member decides — and our servers enforce it.

  • Privacy by default

Photos can stay blurred, contact details stay private, and we never sell data or show ads.

  • Everyone belongs

Divorced, widowed, reverts, over 30, in Bangladesh or abroad — described with respect.

  • Two languages, two generations

Bangla and English everywhere, and large, simple screens for parents.

What comes next

  1. A small, invite-only closed beta, starting with Bengali Muslim communities in London and New York.
  2. Then the iPhone and Android apps for the UK, the US and Canada.
  3. Later: Bangladesh, bKash and Nagad payments, the ghotok (matchmaker) service, and more verification badges.

These are plans, not promises of dates. We will share news on this site.

We are new, so you will not find member counts, testimonials or awards here. When we have real stories to share, members will tell them — with their permission.
