How to report
- Open the menu at the top of a profile or chat, or use the button next to a message.
- Choose Report, then a reason: fake profile · already married · pressured into marriage · asking for money · harassment or abuse · inappropriate photo · under 18 · something else.
- "Block too" is ticked for you. The messages involved are attached to the report automatically — no screenshots needed.
What happens next
- Our trained trust and safety team reviews it. We aim to act within 12 hours, and within 1 hour where someone’s safety is at risk.
- "Pressured into marriage" reports go to a specially trained member of the team, and you see the help available in your country straight away.
- We may warn, restrict, suspend or ban the account, and refer to the authorities where needed.
- You can follow the status and outcome under My reports in the app.
When you block someone
Once you block someone, they can no longer see your profile, send you interests or message you, and they are not told that you blocked them.
If you are reported
If we take action we tell you the reason, and you can appeal from the notice. Someone other than the person who made the decision reviews the appeal. See the community guidelines.
